- Serving with: Thick yogurt (preferably buffalo milk yogurt) and jaggery.
- Occasion: Often eaten during the Assamese festival of Bihu.
- Get the rice: Procure Malbhog Dhan rice.
- Flatten the rice: Use a traditional rice flattening method or a modern rice flaking machine to turn the rice into thin, crispy “Sira” flakes.
